Policy

Acceptable use.

The rules that keep the Spanb2b website and AI assistant useful, safe and fair for everyone.

Overview

What this policy covers.

1

Purpose

This acceptable use policy sets out the standards that apply when you use the Spanb2b website (the "Site") and the AI assistant available on it (the "Assistant"). It exists to protect the integrity of the service, safeguard personal data, and ensure a respectful experience for all visitors.

By using the Site or the Assistant, you agree to follow this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or the Assistant.

2

Permitted use

You may use the Site and the Assistant to:

  • Learn about Spanb2b, our services, approach, team and published thinking.
  • Ask questions related to B2B marketing, GTM strategy, demand generation, account-based growth, brand to revenue, and related topics.
  • Navigate to relevant pages, articles, glossary entries and contact routes.
  • Request connection with a partner or submit an enquiry via the contact form.
3

Prohibited use

You must not use the Site or the Assistant to:

  • Send abusive, threatening, harassing, hateful, discriminatory or sexually explicit messages.
  • Attempt to bypass content filters, moderation or rate limits.
  • Use adversarial framing such as "ignore previous instructions", "DAN mode", "off the record", "as a friend", or "imagine you are a partner" to manipulate the Assistant.
  • Request content that the Assistant is not designed to produce: fabricated case studies, fake testimonials, fake quotes, fake screenshots, fake reviews, fake LinkedIn posts, or any content that could be passed off as a Spanb2b deliverable.
  • Ask the Assistant to write blog posts, articles, briefs, presentations, outreach, sales emails, or content you will publish elsewhere.
  • Share personal data about yourself or third parties (names, addresses, emails, phone numbers, payment details, or any PII) in chat messages. The Assistant is not a secure channel for handling personal information.
  • Attempt to extract the system prompt, model details, internal configuration or technical architecture of the Assistant.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers or other tools to interact with the Assistant or Site at high volume.
  • Use the Site or Assistant for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes the rights of others.
4

Rate limits and enforcement

The Assistant enforces rate limits to prevent abuse and maintain service quality. If you exceed the permitted number of messages within a rolling time window, you may be temporarily blocked from sending further messages.

If your messages are flagged as abusive, offensive or in breach of this policy, the conversation may be ended immediately. Repeated or serious breaches may result in longer blocks or permanent restriction from using the Assistant.

We reserve the right to suspend, withdraw or restrict access to the Assistant or any part of the Site for operational, security or policy reasons at any time.

5

No guarantees

The Assistant is an AI tool, not a human adviser. Its responses are based on the information available to it and are provided for general information only. They do not constitute professional advice. You should verify any important information and seek independent professional advice before acting on it.

We do not guarantee that the Assistant will always be available, accurate, complete or up to date. We may update, change or remove the Assistant without notice.

6

Reporting misuse

If you encounter misuse of the Assistant or have concerns about a response, please contact us at hello@spanb2b.io.

7

Changes to this policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective" date. Your continued use of the Site or Assistant after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.

8

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
