Background
Claire Dalton is a Managing Partner at Spanb2b and the partner responsible for Campaign GTM strategy, media planning and buying, commercial reporting and AI workflow architecture. She has over fifteen years of senior B2B marketing experience across agency, in-house and fractional roles, with an evidence-first approach to everything she builds.
Her agency career includes Kingpin Communications (data, media and telemarketing agency), where she owned the largest EMEA client portfolio in the business, joined the executive board and was central to the agency's commercial value. As part of the senior leadership team, she helped lead Kingpin through its M&A process with The Marketing Practice (full-service marketing agency). At TMP, she integrated the media function across the combined business, before moving in-house to gain client-side experience at Procore (digital construction software, SaaS).
At Procore, she joined as Senior Director of Marketing on a maternity contract, leading EMEA campaigns. She was responsible for the UK, France, Germany and the UAE, with interim oversight of APAC. Procore extended her contract to lead lifecycle marketing implementation and launch the inaugural Procore Construction Summit.
After Procore, she spent eighteen months working across agencies and in-house teams as an independent operator. That period repeatedly surfaced the same gaps in how B2B agencies were run, and shaped the model that became Spanb2b.
Claire's view is that AI has collapsed the cost of building proprietary IP. Tech alone is no longer the moat. What sets teams apart now is experience and judgement: knowing which problems are worth solving, which signals matter and what to ignore. That is what lets lean senior teams compete with larger incumbents. She builds against that directly, developing the reporting pipelines, tooling and delivery systems that let Spanb2b punch above its size.
